72 UFL Players Sign NFL Contracts

Washington, DC - Seventy-two UFL Players have signed with NFL teams so far this season. The Michigan Panthers lead the UFL in NFL signings this season with 16. The Birmingham Stallions have 15 players signed and the San Antonio Brahmas sent 11 players to the NFL. The DC Defenders, Arlington Renegades, and St. Louis Battlehawks are all tied with 7 NFL signings. The Memphis Showboats sent 5 players to the NFL, and, rounding out the group, the Houston Roughnecks have 4 players who signed NFL contracts.

Of the 72 UFL players who signed with the NFL, 37 are on offense, 32 on defense, and 3 on special teams. There are 28 NFL teams who signed UFL players. The 4 teams who have not picked up UFL players are the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles and Tennessee Titans.

The New York Jets lead the NFL in UFL players selected this season with 7. The Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons took 5 players each. There were 4 UFL players each signed to the Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals. With 3 UFL signings each are the Carolina Panthers (including Michigan Panthers DT Walter Palmore for an ironic Panthers-to-Panthers move), Seattle Seahawks, New Orleans Saints, Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers, and Detroit Lions. With 2 UFL players signed each are the Washington Commanders, L.A. Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Jacksonville Jaguars, L.A. Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, and Miami Dolphins. The Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Houston Texans each signed 1 UFL player to their rosters.

In total, there were 4 QBs, 4 RBs, 13, WRs, 3 TEs, 13 OL, 13 DL, 13 LB, 1 S, 5 CBs, 1 LS, and 2 Ks added to NFL rosters. We are in the last week of NFL preseason and awaiting final rosters. Some players will make the cut, others may look to rejoin the UFL next season. Stay tuned for updates.
